PepsiCo required a high-impact fan activation for the UEFA Women’s Champions League Final in Lisbon, with extremely limited time to plan and deliver it. The date was fixed; everything else had to move.
The brief covered design, production, installation and removal — a full activation lifecycle compressed into a schedule tied to a single, immovable event date.
GLIMMA translated the concept into detailed specifications and mobilized local partners in Lisbon, compressing what would normally be a longer production timeline into three weeks.
Delivered a full PepsiCo and Lay’s fan activation for the UEFA Women’s Champions League Final, from concept to completion within three weeks.
A fixed date, three weeks out
PepsiCo required a high-impact activation for the UEFA Women’s Champions League Final, with extremely limited time for planning and delivery.
The challenge was translating concept into execution — covering design, production, installation and removal — within a highly compressed schedule tied to a fixed event date.
A major sporting event does not move its date for a branding program. Everything either lands before kick-off or it does not land at all.
Specify centrally, build locally.
GLIMMA translated the concept into detailed specifications, so production could begin without a round of interpretation first.
Local partners in Lisbon were mobilized to manufacture and install, cutting the transit and lead times that would otherwise have made a three-week window impossible.
On a fixed-date program, the technical specification has to leave nothing open to interpretation. Any ambiguity can create delays when there is no room in the schedule.

GLIMMA delivered concept development and refinement, detailed product specifications, local sourcing and manufacturing, and installation with post-event removal. The activation included a branded Pepsi jersey-personalization station and Lay’s product display and tasting areas, built to work inside a live event venue and struck down again once the final concluded.

Local sourcing and manufacture in Lisbon is what turned a normal production timeline into a three-week one.

A jersey-personalization station and Lay’s tasting areas, built to work inside a live venue and removed cleanly afterward.
Three weeks,
concept to completion.
GLIMMA delivered a high-quality activation within tight timelines, taking PepsiCo and Lay’s from concept to a fully realized fan experience in three weeks — including installation and post-event removal.
Detailed specifications and locally mobilized manufacturing were what made the compressed schedule survivable: nothing waited on interpretation, and nothing waited on freight.
The activation went in ahead of the final and came out cleanly afterward, leaving the venue as it was found.
