When Zimmer acquired Biomet, a new combined brand identity was created, utilizing visual components of both the legacy brands to serve the musculoskeletal healthcare market.
With operations in more than 25 countries around the world and selling products in more than 100 countries, it was important that the new brand identity was introduced as quickly and efficiently as possible.
We helped them to implement their new branding globally, conducting site surveys in the EMEA and Asia before installing all interior and exterior signage at every facility.
Having joined the rebrand effort part-way through, we were keen to demonstrate how central project management and local delivery could deliver consistency and cost efficiencies.
As with most mergers and acqusitions, it was vital that a united brand identity was clearly visible from the outset.
The jewel in the crown of our work with Zimmer Biomet is the 20 meter long halo-effect illuminated architectural sign in the Netherlands, giving them high profile brand visibility to the many thousands of daily commuters who use the busy motorway network around Amsterdam.
