As part of a strategic review of its network of European motorway service stations, BP undertook extensive market research.
This showed that bathroom facilities are the second most important reason for customers to choose a particular service station. In response they decided to upgrade their facilities. We helped to deliver the refurbishment with vibrant large scale graphics that both reflected their brand values and enhanced the environment.
The imagery was carefully selected, to reflect both BP's brand values and to demonstrate their commitment to the environment.
The pilot was a success. A customer survey indicated that 62% of visitors would visit a BP service station more often, clearly demonstrating that the value of branding when it comes to overall visitor experience.
We completed the European rollout of 11 sites with responsibility for the project management, graphics production and installation.
