Avianca, Colombia’s national airline, expanded their coverage of Latin Amercia when they took over TACA airlines. This spurred the launch of a new brand identity.
We worked closely with the rebrand team – Marketing, HR and Corporate Affairs teams to rollout their branding as quickly as possible. Following a comprehensive audit of all their branded assets: real estate, fleet air, ground fleet and every brand touch point (including digital), we project managed the implementation of the rebrand from our offices in Mexico and Colombia.
The rebrand included paint, digital screens, graphics, signage, point of sales materials, office branding and their entire ground fleet.
With a high profile public launch, this meant that absolute discretion was required by the rebrand team to ensure that the new branding was in place but that it was not 'leaked'.
Our international network meant that we had a good understanding of cross border restrictions and that we could provide multi-lingual signage solutions.
GLIMMA only joined the rebrand team just weeks before the launch date so a quick project delivery was required. Our effective approach of central management and local installation meant that the project was delivered in just 180 days!
Avianca’s award winning rebrand and GLIMMA’s role was featured in Communicate magazine.
