Complex graphics for vehicle fleet rebrand
Nokia Siemens Networks
The Challenge

When GLIMMA were invited to help with Nokia Siemens Networks' vehicle rebranding programme, the brand design and implementation guidelines had already been defined. This presented the team with the interesting challenge of applying complex logo graphics across a varied vehicle fleet without the luxury of being able to influence the design.
The Solution
Where possible GLIMMA prefers to centralise project management, graphic design and material specification and then engage local partners to manufacture and apply the graphics on site.
In this instance there are only a few printers with the capability of printing some of the key graphic elements for the programme. This meant more complex logistics were required whereby the more technical elements were created centrally then shipped to site to be applied alongside other, larger elements that had been produced locally.
Once the approach had been proven, online ordering was made available so that local offices could order seamlessly, via the Nokia Siemens Networks intranet, as required.
The Benefits
Despite the complexities behind the scenes, the GLIMMA solution is now a fully integrated part of the portfolio of products and services available to staff via the Nokia Siemens Networks intranet.
GLIMMA's "value engineering" approach means that as well as a highly durable and cost effective branding solution for their vehicles, Nokia Siemens Networks can order efficiently, with full traceability and tracking, as part of their day to day business processes.
